Here’s what some of your peers are saying about

Tommy Johns Presents

and the educational programs we offer.

Everyone loved Go Wild! (the science and reading program) and want you to come back!  I have let other schools know about the AWESOME show my students saw.  I tell them how well you manage and control student behavior, and how much the kids l earned.

Students are still showing parents your posters and saying, ‘I saw him.  It was so much fun!’  They were sorry when the show ended!”

Patty Krezinski, Media Specialist

Diamond Lakes ES

Hephzibah, GA

“On a scale of 1 to 5, you are a 10+!  You do a great job and the children LOVE you!”

Nancy Bohannon, Children’s Librarian

Northlake Library

Tucker, GA

“Very motivating for the kids and the staff!  The thing I liked most about “Go Wild!” was the way you related fun, science, reading and geography into a show that was both very educational AND entertaining!

JoLayne Rentzel, Educational Programs Director

National Science Center

Augusta, GA

“How can the love of reading and the need to read be presented through a Magic Show?  Let Tommy Johns come to your school or library and present his “I Love to Read!” show.  No matter the age, all will listen, watch, be amazed, and love the show.  “What stands out in my memory most is the ease of flow and the ability to interact with the students while maintaining control of several hundred students.  I loved the final act with one of our teachers!”

JoAnn Weston, Media Librarian

Lynn Fanning ES

Meridianville, AL

Tommy is a delight to work with, from start to finish.  I appreciated the information he sent ahead of time -- everything from posters to tax forms included in one packet.  I appreciated his flexibility -- he was able to change the time on one of our shows at the last minute, and he was also willing to work in another show the same day for a community group.  Most of all, I appreciated the way he interacted with the kids before and after the program.  He has a magic touch, in more ways than one.

Oh, and the shows were terrific, too -- full of books, jokes, magic, science, puppets, and audience participation.  The kids and the parents had a ball!”

Jan Daniel, Children's Librarian

Okefenokee Regional Library

Waycross, GA

“You were so easy to work with.  You did exactly what you said you would do.  You were prepared and on time!  Awesome!”

Betsy Simmons, Media Specialist

Oglethorpe Point Elementary

St. Simon’s Island, GA

(I never realized what a big deal it is to be “prepared and on time” or “easy to work with” until so many clients started telling me their stories about other performers, and making similar comments on their feedback forms.  I thought those things were the baseline.  I had no idea that just doing these simple things would set me apart from the competition!  TJ)

"Go Wild makes learning FUN - the students recall words from the presentation for weeks following.  This is the BEST educational show I have ever seen thus far.  The students were learning plus entertained.  Well worth the cost!"

Sue Ensley, Media Specialist

Morris ES

Lake Worth

“WOW!  Tommy Johns is fantastic!  Through magic, puppets, games, music and lots of volunteers from the audience, his enthusiastic personality encourages students to be READERS.”

Janie B. Vaden, Ed.S, Media Specialist

Varnell Elementary

Dalton, GA

“The teachers were already asking for a return performance when the assembly ended!  This was the first time I have ever had all positive comments after we have had someone like this at our school.  If you have the chance to book him, he’s worth every penny!”

Angelina Koster, Media Specialist

Eastside Elementary

Douglas, GA

“Tommy is an excellent resource for any "in-school" field trip.  His Simple Machines workshop is an excellent hands-on experience for my students.  The students had a blast trying out all of the different types of simple machines and how they work. Tommy has a great way of letting the children in engage in their learning.  The workshop was a great culminating activity for this unit.”

Traci Cummings, Gifted and Talented Teacher

Mimosa ES

Roswell, GA

“You bring magic to life by motivating young minds to try their best!  I love the way you involve the children.  Asking volunteers to come up on stage is always exciting for the children.  Everything was fantastic!!  Excellent!  See you next year!

Sammi McGowan, Grade Level Chair

Macedonia ES

Canton, GA

The children and the teachers are still talking about the "I Love To Read" show you presented on Tuesday to help us celebrate Read Across America and Dr. Seuss' birthday.  The children saw me Tuesday and Wednesday as I was around the building, and would say, “I saw you do that magic." or "Did you really do that magic?"  The teachers talked about how good you were with the children as we had conversation in our faculty meeting yesterday.

“Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank you! for creating a wonderful memory for the children and the staff of Bryant Primary School, especially because the memory is connected with reading, one of the most important gifts we give our students.

Mary K. Widener, Principal

Bryant Primary School

Cobb County, GA

Your shows (I Love to Read! and the Family show) were wonderful!  Kids were still talking about it on Tuesday!  Word even got back to Springwood (a local private school) what a great show it was.  One of their teachers told me she heard all about it!  Thanks for a wonderful day of magic for the kids at Central!”

Randall Smith, PTA/Cultural Arts Coordinator

Central Elementary

Lanett, AL

Our teachers loved the show as much as the children.  They asked me to get you back to our school next year!  (You were) so easy to work with and book.  Everything exceeded expectations.”

Sherry Plant, Assistant Principal

Lynn Fanning Elementary

Meridianville, AL

Everyone involved love the program.  Weeks after the event, they are still talking about it!  Your presentation is the best I’ve ever seen!  I even liked your tennis shoes!”

Pat Bell, Media Specialist

Blakeney Elementary

Waynesboro, GA

You are awesome!  Very professional – confirmed date and time, arrived ahead of the scheduled time, and the kids really loved it.”

Gwen Kellar

“Wow!  You need to hire this guy!”

Lucy Agresta, Math Teacher
